The Priest Holmes Foundation Student Incentive Program through Communities In Schools of KCK/Wyandotte County recognized nine students from M.E. Pearson Elementary School’s fourth grade class on April 27, 2010. The students were rewarded for exceeding the set requirements for academic performance, behavior, attendance and effort for the 2009-2010 school year.
As a reward for their efforts, these exceptional students were granted a limousine ride with Priest Holmes to the Communities In Schools of KCK/Wyandotte County Annual Luncheon where they received a Certificate of Excellence from the Priest Holmes Foundation (PHf).
In addition to the PHf Student Incentive Program recognition ceremony, Mayor Joe Reardon proclaimed April 27, 2010, Priest Holmes Foundation Day in Kansas City, Kansas. The Mayor presented Priest Holmes, Founder of PHf, with a Proclamation and Key to the City in a ceremony preceding the Communities In Schools of KCK/Wyandotte County Annual Luncheon.
“I am excited to say that my efforts on the field for 11 seasons, 7 with the Chiefs will now benefit the lives of youth off of the field. PHf is eager to move forward with our efforts to expand into the Greater Kansas City Area”. – Priest Holmes, Founder.
