San Antonio, Texas – On May 9, 2012, The Priest Holmes Foundation (PHf) will present scholarship award letters to graduating high school seniors from the following San Antonio area high schools: Alexandria Lara, South San HS; Alison McCormick, Health Careers HS; Anyssa Antuna, South San HS; Betty Ovuegbe, Health Careers HS; Esmeralda Flores, South San HS; Stephanie Solis, South San HS
The ceremonies will be held at the following schools. South San HS located at 2515 Bobcat Lane, SA, TX 78224 and Health Careers HS located at 4646 Hamilton Wolfe Rd, SA, TX 78229 starting at 1 PM.
Supporting education is one of the many ways the Priest Holmes Foundation helps young men and women to maximize their potential. The PHf Scholarship and Standards Program seeks to give students the tools they need to succeed by offering financial support to students who have shown a commitment towards continuing their education. Each scholarship recognizes extraordinary achievement, leadership and talent. The requirements for awards vary from financial need to academic/community achievements.
The PHf Scholarship & Standards Application Packet is launched annually online and is open to Bexar County high school seniors. Since 2009, PHf has awarded 48 scholarships to San Antonio area graduating high school seniors.
